Day 1: Marrakech “Arrival to Morocco”,
In our first day of the tour and at the moment you arrive at Marrakech our driver will meet you and transport you to the hotel. After relaxing you can have a cultural tour of the city or stroll in Jamma El Fnaa.
Day 2: Marrakech Guided Tour,
We will devote the second day of our tour to visit, see and explore the city of Marrakesh. We will visit intriguing and excellent spots, a beautiful French garden and pool surrounded by flowers, The Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Minaret, The Museum of Dar Si Said which contains Berber crafts and arts, the ancient Medina so on… After having lunch in a local restaurant, we will stroll through the colorful and bustling Souks of Marrakech, and the square of Jemaa El Fna, while dinner will be in your hotel/riad.
Day 3: Marrakech – The High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Dades Gorges,
We will drive you from your Hotel or Riad in Marrakech, via the High Atlas, along with the Berber villages perching the sides of the mountains. Then, to the Unesco Heritage site of “Ait Ben Haddou”, which is an exotic and well-known Kasbah in Morocco. We will have lunch at the Kasbah, and a tour to discover more about this historical castle. We will continue to stay the night at the wonderful Dades Gorges, passing by the Hollywood city of Morocco “Ouarzazate”.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga,
Today we’ll journey to the stunning Dunes of Erg Chebbi at Merzouga, passing by multiple Berber Villages. Our first stop will be at the Todra Gorges where we’ll relax and have lunch. Arriving at our guest house in Merzouga, you will have a cup of Moroccan mint tea prepared by the Berbers, along with an amusing night at the hotel Kasbah.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert Tour,
At Merzouga, we will take breakfast and shower to start exploring the Sahara surroundings by the 4*4 and see the magnificence Sahara Dunes. You’ll go through Berber towns, especially Khamlia village to listen to their music known as “Gnawa”, while lunch will be with Berber pizza “Madfouna”. We will go by the Paris Dakar Rally street, to explore the cave where locals extract the fossils profound the earth, and after that we will ride the camels toward Erg Chebbi Dunes, for a night to remember, a night under the stars and the quiet and tranquility of the Sahara, with the excellence of the Berber music utilizing their drums while eating. Finally spend the night in the well equipped Bebrer Villages.
Day 6: Merzouga – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes,
A stunning view of the sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, will certainly amaze you; make sure to wake up early. We will have a walk in the desert dunes to admire the place, after breakfast, and then have a shower at Merzouga hotel, you’ll get prepared to travel to Fez. Along the pathway, we will cross Rissani and the Ziz Valley to Midelt where we’ll take lunch. Then to Azrou with a stop to see the Barbary apes in the cedar forest. Continue through Ifrane and the Middle Atlas Mountains, to finally reach Fez where it marks the end of your day.
Day 7: Exploring Fez “Guided Tour” ,
In our seventh day of the tour, we will visit and explore numerous fascinating and astounding spots in Fez city. After breakfast, we will visit the “Medina”, renowned for its narrow alleyways, sophisticated Berber Carpets, fresh fruits, spices piles and numerous other Moroccan notable arts. Fes Medina is the home for several mosques and the oldest one, for example, Qaraouiyine Mosque, which is established by Fatima El Fihria in 859, The Andalusian Mosque which go back to 860 and where is disallowed for Non-Muslim to enter. After lunch, You’ll visit the Fountains of “Nejjarine”, Madrasas ( Koranic schools established in the start of thirteenth century), Batha Palace which is currently a gallery of Arts and Traditions, Chouwara Tanneries, The old Souk of Al Attarine , Bab Boujloud (blue and green Ceramics door), Mellah, the King Palace. Finally the guided tour of Fez will end when your driver drops you off at your accommodation.
Day 8: Fez – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat – Casablanca ,
Today we will leave Fez and drive by The 2000-year-old Roman ruins “Volubilis”, and the amazing monumental walls of Meknes, dating back to the seventeenth century such as “Berdaine Bab”, and “Bab Khemis”. You’ll also visit the stables (Rua) and stopping at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail which was the only mosque in Morocco that permit non-Muslims to enter it, you’ll continue to the huge Hedim square. Lunch will be at Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, where we will watch the ocean, The medina and its souks, The Oudayas Kasbah which is constructed in the twelfth century, Hassan II tower and the Mohamed V mausoleum. Finally continue to where you’ll stay the night.
Day 9: Casablanca “Leave Morocco” ,
Depending on your time of leaving, our driver will drive you directly to the Airport, as an end of our 9 days tour from Marrakech.
