Tour’s overview

If you are an adventure lover, this tour is made for you. The departure and the end of the tour will be at Casablanca, you will enjoy yourself in the Sahara Desert at Merzouga, and Dades Valley. You will also visit Fez, Meknes, Rabat, and Marrakech, the four imperial cities of Morocco, walking in the Medina, Souks, and eat delicious Moroccan meals.

Day 1: Casablanca,

We will meet you at Casablanca airport, or hotel, and then we are going to check-in in a hotel, have a rest, and then a walk in the economic city of the kingdom. We will visit Hassan II Mosque, and Mohamed V Mausoleum, and then go back to the hotel to stay the night there.

Day 2: Casablanca – Marrakech,

In the morning, and after having breakfast, we will travel to the Red city of the kingdom. Marrakech is an excellent place for roaming, with its Jemaa El Fna square, Medina, and historical public places. We will first have a walk in the medina, around the Souks, Shops, and craft shops. Second, visit The Bahia Palace, the colorful and wonderful Majorelle Garden, and then have lunch. We will spend the afternoon at “Jemaa El Fna”, a vast square full of merchants, who sell different kinds of food, and drinks, storytellers, Snake charmers, musicians, and more. We will have dinner there, before going back to the hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou- Ouarzazate,

Take your breakfast and depart from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, crossing Tizi-N-Tichka pass, and leaving the main road. We will visit The Pasha Glaoui Telouet Kasbah, and then crossing many Berber villages to Ait Ben Haddou most famous Kasbah in the kingdom, and which cited as a Unesco World Heritage site. Arriving at Ouarzazate to stay the night there, we will see Taourit Kasbah, and the Atlas film studios out there.

Day 4: Ouarzazate- Kelaat M’gouna- Skoura Oasis- Dades Valley,

In the morning, we will continue to the valley of Roses at Kelaat M’gouna, a place where natural oils and soaps are produced by the extract of the roses, “Skoura Oasis” for a short visit to see Kasbahs, and big Palm trees, from Skoura to Dades Valley where we are going to stay a night. Dades Valley is remarkable by its rock formations labeled as “Monkey Toes”.

Day 5: Dades Valley- Todra Gorges- Erfoud- Rissani- Merzouga,

We will continue after having breakfast, via multiple Kasbahs along the road, to walk between the wonderful Todra Gorges, which are a serial of limestone river canyons. After having lunch, we continue into the Sahara road until reaching Merzouga desert. You will have an enjoyable camel trekking to watch the sunset, before staying in a hotel for night.

Day 6: Merzouga- Erfoud- Rissani- Erg Chebbi Dunes,

After having breakfast, we will have a ride in the Sahara Desert, visiting “Khamlia”, this is a village of the black “Gnaoua”, who brought from Sudan, in order to visit their workplace, and listen to their unique music. Then, we will visit Erfoud (known for fossil production), Rissani to have a delicious lunch of the Berber Pizza “Medfouna”. After lunch, you will have an exciting camel trekking to reach Erg Chebbi high Dunes. You will see the sunset, drink a cup of Moroccan mint tea, and have an Arabian dinner while the music is being played by the Berbers and their drums. We will spend the night in the Berber yurts.

Day 7: Merzouga – Midelt- Azrou- Ifran – Fez,

Stunning view of the sun rising over the golden Dunes will impress you; make sure to wake up early to see it. After having breakfast, we will ride the camel to have a refreshing shower in the hotel, in order to leave Merzouga, toward Fez. Along the road, we will pass by the panoramic Ziz Valley, Midelt to have Lunch, The cedar forest of Azrou to see Monkeys and take photos, the Swisss city of Morocco” Ifran”, and finally to Fez to stay a night in a riad.

Day 8: Fez “Guided excursion”,

Today we are going to spend a day in Fez, starting from the old Medina; we will walk in its small streets with the tour guide, seeing different shops, craft shops, food, Jewelry, drinks, and more. You can feel free to buy food, souvenirs, and take some memorable photos. We will have lunch in a restaurant in the medina, and after that we will visit The Ouaraouiyine Mosque, the tanneries, Medersa Bou Inania, The oldest University in the World of Al Ouaraouiyine, and the Royal Palace. We will have dinner in a good restaurant, and then go back to the riad.

Day 9: Fez- Meknes- Volubilis- Rabat- Casablanca,

In the early morning, we will travel to Meknes visiting Bab El Mansour, and Bab Khmiss gates, and Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, then “Volubilis”; there are historical Roman ruins that occupied a large area, maintaining very beautiful scenery. We will continue to Rabat, to visit Hassan II Tower and Udayas Kasbah, and have lunch there, and then we will take the road to Casablanca to stay the night there.

Day 10: Casablanca ,

After having breakfast, our driver will drive you to your accommodation, ending our 10 days tour.
